Three decades of hospitality in Christchurch were celebrated recently as The<br />
George Hotel reached a grand milestone. The 30th anniversary could not<br />
pass without bringing together a company of those who had, over the years,<br />
enjoyed a close association with the elegant establishment. It came to pass then,<br />
that they gathered to dine, wine and reminisce in the fellowship of friends, both<br />
old and new. By evening’s end, all the elements had combined to make this little<br />
piece of history, an occasion to remember.<br />
