HEAD OVER HEELS OPENING
Shoes, marvellous shoes danced across the view of guests at the grand
opening of Head Over Heels, weaving a magical path leading to a trove of
temptations to tantalise the feet. Outside, the misery of winter inflicted brutal
mockery upon High Street, savage winds slicing like invisible razorblades into
forlorn pedestrians, in contrast to the merriment within. Joyous noise rose to a
deafening pitch as pair after pair were tried on. I dare say that they will pop up
at some elegant affaires in the spring and summer, the seasons of cup days and
garden parties.
