said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is<br />

one God; and there is none other but he:” “And to love him with<br />

all the heart and with all the understanding, and with all the soul,<br />

and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is<br />

more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” “And when<br />

Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art<br />

In the thirty-sixth, thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth verses of the<br />

twenty-second chapter of the Gospel of Matthew when Îsâ ‘alaihissalâm’<br />

was asked, “Master, which is the great commandment in the<br />

law?” “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with<br />

all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” “This is<br />

the first and great commandment.” (Matt: 22-36, 37, 38) And it is<br />

stated in the fortieth verse that all Sharî’ats and Prophets are<br />

dependent on this commandment. [The fact that Allah is One is<br />

written clearly in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark. The word<br />

‘Father’ means ‘Rabb’, ‘Owner’, and ‘Lord’. It does not mean<br />

biological father.]<br />

[Furthermore, the epistles that have been annexed to the Bible<br />

and are therefore considered to be its components contain<br />

statements expressing that Allâhu ta’âlâ is one.<br />

The twentieth verse of the third chapter of Paul’s epistle to the<br />

Galatians states: “... but God is one.” (Gal: 3-20)<br />

The fourth, the fifth and the sixth verses of the fourth chapter<br />

of Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians state: “There is one body, and<br />

one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” “One<br />

Lord, one faith, one baptism,” “One God and Father of all, who is<br />

above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Eph: 4-4, 5, 6)<br />

The seventeenth verse of the first chapter of I Timothy states:<br />

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise<br />

God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” (I Tim: 1-17)<br />

The third, fourth and fifth verses of the second chapter state:<br />

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;”<br />

“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the<br />

knowledge of the truth.” “For there is one God, and one mediator<br />

between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (ibid: 2-3, 4, 5) The<br />

twenty-fifth verse of the Epistle of Jude states: “To the only wise<br />
