Harputlu Ishâk Effendi explains how the Bible - the true book revealed to Isa 'alaihis-salam - was distorted; how words that belonged to people were put into firstly written four Gospels; that the theory of trinity is erroneous; the belief of Tawhid (the unity of Allahu ta’ala) in Islam. Besides, a few very precious letters - a food of a soul by Muhammad Ma’sûm-î Fârûkî - take place. Information about Judaism, Torah and Talmud is also given.

on him. The wicked unbeliever Ibni Kâmia set upon Mus’ab<br />

‘radiy-Allâhu anh’. For Mus’ab ‘radiy-Allâhu anh’ was shielding<br />

Rasûlullah with his body. With one stroke of his sword, Ibni<br />

Kâmia cut off Mus’ab’s ‘radiy-Allâhu anh’ right arm. So he held<br />

the banner with his left hand. In the meantime he was<br />

soliloquizing and saying the fourteenth âyat-i-kerîma of Âl-i-<br />

’Imrân sûra, which purported: “Muhammad is the Messenger of<br />

Allah alone.” A second stroke, and this time his left arm was cut<br />

off. Upon this he pressed the banner on his chest, using what<br />

remained of his mutilated arms and at the same time reiterating<br />

the same âyat-i-kerîma. He did not let go the Banner of Islam. At<br />

last he succumbed to a spear that was thrust into his chest, and<br />

attained martyrdom. Yet he was still in possession of the Islamic<br />

Banner.<br />

Hubeyb bin Adiy and Zayd bin Desinna ‘radiy-Allâhu<br />

anhumâ’ had been entrapped, enslaved, and then sold to the<br />

polytheists of Qoureish by the sons of Lihyan, who were<br />

polytheists, too. Before martyring Hubeyb, they told him that they<br />

would set him free if he abandoned his religious faith. He replied,<br />

“I swear by the name of Allah that I shall not abandon my<br />

religious faith! I would not abandon Islam even if the entire world<br />

were given to me in return.” Upon this the polytheists asked,<br />

“Would you rather put Muhammad ‘alaihis-salâm’ in your place<br />

and have him killed, so that you may go home and live<br />

comfortably?” Hubeyb ‘radiy-Allâhu anh’ answered, “I would<br />

sacrifice my life even to prevent a thorn from stinging the blessed<br />

foot of Muhammad ‘alaihis-salâm’ in Medina. The unbelievers<br />

marvelled at this excessive love of Hubeyb’s. Then they martyred<br />

him.<br />

These events and hundreds of other examples that could be<br />

written here bear witness to the fact that all the As-hâb-i-kirâm<br />

and all the other Muslims that have come to the earth for<br />

fourteen hundred years were and have been willing to sacrifice<br />

their lives for the sake of Rasûlullah and for attaining love of<br />

Allâhu ta’âlâ. The Apostles, on the other hand, who are accepted<br />

as Messengers by Christians, not only deserted Îsâ ‘alaihis-salâm’<br />

and ran away at his most grievous time, but also swore afterwards<br />

that they did not know him. These cases are written in today’s<br />

Gospels.]<br />

Every truth is fully known only by Allâhu ta’âlâ; our Prophet’s<br />

‘sall-Allâhu alaihi wasallam’ enjoining this sacrificial act on Alî<br />

‘radiy-Allâhu anh’ in the night of Hegira was intended to answer<br />
