prepared for dessert should be dispensed with.<br />

Every minister who preaches the gospel to the<br />

people should study the laws of physical health. He<br />

should carefully consider what effect eating <strong>and</strong><br />

drinking have upon the health of the soul. By<br />

precept <strong>and</strong> example, by a life of obedience to<br />

nature's laws, he can present the truth in a<br />

favorable manner. The teachers <strong>and</strong> workers in our<br />

sanitariums should not only preach, but practice,<br />

abstinence from food which stimulates fleshly lusts<br />

which war against the soul.<br />

"Ye are not your own; for ye are bought with a<br />

price: therefore glorify God in your body <strong>and</strong> in<br />

your spirit, which are God's." Nearly all of the<br />

human family eat more than the system requires.<br />

This excess decays, <strong>and</strong> becomes a putrid mass.<br />

Catarrhal difficulties, kidney disease, headache,<br />

<strong>and</strong> heart troubles, are the result of immoderate<br />

eating. Even so-called health reform needs<br />

reforming upon this point. When men <strong>and</strong> women<br />

cease to indulge their appetites by eating too<br />
