every man. "In all things it behooved Him to be
made like unto his brethren, that he might be a
faithful and merciful high priest in things
pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the
sins of the people. For in that he himself hath
suffered, being tempted, he is able to succor them
that are tempted."
The worker who considers himself in a position
of such high responsibility that he allows the
members of the churches to look up to him to voice
their decisions and control their actions, if
educating men and women to wear a human yoke.
They are not learning of the divine teacher. To the
one who is being led to have such an experience, I
would say, Go to Christ: ask Him to give you an
experience; learn to emulate his faultless character,
and do not look for experiences of guidance to any
human being, who is as liable to err as yourself.
There are reasons why we should not put our
trust in men who are placed in positions of large
responsibility. It is often difficult for them to
maintain a humble and teachable spirit. They
