Displaying a table caption, header, and footer<br />

If you want to create a caption to appear above your table, you can use the<br />

and tags. Captions can be useful to name or<br />

describe the data stored inside the table.<br />

Tables can also store a header and footer. The header typically appears as<br />

the first row of the table whereas the footer typically appears as the last<br />

row of the table. To define a table header and footer, you need to use the<br />

and tags, respectively. The following code produces the<br />

results shown in Figure 1-5:<br />
