1940’S NIGHT WITH THE UMBRELLA BIG BAND
Saturday 9th June Doors open at 7.30pm
The Umbrella Big Band have been playing great music for dancing for
almost half a century! They are a 17-piece Big Band with Saxes, Trumpets,
Trombones and Rhythm plus of course some Vocalists.
They have an extensive repertoire of music from the Big Band Era from the
likes of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Woody Herman,
Duke Ellington and many more.
They look forward to bringing the music and songs of the 1940s to
Danbury for an evening of Ballroom and Latin dancing with a Vintage
theme.

80’S NIGHT WITH RUBIX - 80’S BAND
Friday 22nd June Doors open 7.30pm
RUBIX-80’s is a fast-paced trip through the pop,
rock and nu-romantic hits of the 1980’s complete
with 80’s choreography, costumes and plenty of fun
audience interaction.
Featuring hit songs by Duran Duran, A-Ha, Human
League, Depeche Mode, Wham! The Communards,
Belinda Carlisle, Madonna, Yazoo, Soft Cell,
Bananarama, Bon Jovi, Blondie, KC & the
Sunshine Band, Erasure, Queen, The Bangles and
more, RUBIX-80’s is a sure-fire dancefloor filler.
This show is pure entertainment – not to be
missed!

HAL CRUTTENDEN: EDINBURGH PREVIEW
Sunday 15th July Doors open 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start
Hal Cruttenden, who is one of the top stand-up
comedians working in the UK today is coming to the
Centre on Sunday 15 th July to preview his Edinburgh
material.
He has made
several
appearances on
‘Live at the
Apollo’ (BBC1
and 2), ‘Have I
Got News For
You’ (BBC1)
and ‘The
Royal Variety
Performance’
(ITV) as well
as his regular
appearances
on shows
such as
‘Mock the
Week’
(BBC2),

Cruttenden’ (Amazon Prime and NextUpComedy.com).
He has toured the country
extensively and, in the last two
years, has also taken shows to the
Melbourne Comedy Festival and
the New Zealand Comedy Festival.
