You have initiated a new factory,<br />
involved in innovative fabric<br />
production for the mattress<br />
industry in Kayseri. Could we get<br />
details about this new investment?<br />
Our new factory specialized in<br />
diverse range of innovative fabrics<br />
for the mattress industry, in<br />
Kayseri, started trial production<br />
two months ago. Our trial production<br />
will be completed within<br />
about 2 months and we will<br />
officially launch our activities.<br />
Aydın Tekstil is a company that<br />
has been manufacturing for<br />
67 years since 1957. In line<br />
with this new investment, we<br />
will become one of the largest<br />
fabric-producing establishments<br />
of the world. This investment<br />
assumes significance for the<br />
foreign markets as well.<br />
The global brands of Aydın Textile<br />
could also be regarded as<br />
an important asset for Turkey.<br />
Could you brief information about<br />
your R&D center?<br />
We have a Ministry approved<br />
R&D center. We continue to work<br />
continuously in the center. A<br />
series of technical works continue<br />
for upholstery fabrics, carpets<br />
and mattress fabrics. We have<br />
recently brought our Sleepmaker<br />
fabric to the market. This fabric<br />
has a static grounding feature.<br />
