we talked with Kazim Sezerkan,
a partner of Gemba Machinery
company about the latest technologies
and systems in packaging
machinery.
Where does the packaging business
stand in the mattress industry
now? What is your company’s
position?
In our industry, it is possible to
make any machinery for packaging
mattresses. Recently,
mattresses had been shipped
and transported as in their
original forms and volumes, now,
we have several possibilities
to lower the volume and size of
packages with an aim to lower
the costs of transportation and
storage. Earlier, mattresses were
being packed manually, but,
now, they are packed on automatic
machinery and stocked on
pallets for delivery. Our company
is able to produce every kind
and every capacity of packaging
machinery.
What is the percentage of full
automatic machinery in the
facilities? What do you expect
more in the future?
