王 琛 依 然 保 持 著 自 己 的 淡 然 回 答 說 :「 其 實 , 我 自
己 並 沒 有 覺 得 特 別 的 艱 苦 , 我 就 是 覺 得 我 在 做 自 己 當 下
應 該 做 的 事 情 , 但 總 是 覺 得 自 己 做 的 還 不 夠 好 。 所 以 ,
我 也 不 會 覺 得 有 多 麼 痛 苦 , 總 是 覺 得 自 己 還 是 差 得 太
多 。」
王 琛 告 訴 我 們 , 因 為 她 現 在 已 經 是 團 裏 老 資 歷 的 成
員 了 , 所 以 除 了 自 己 的 訓 練 和 演 出 任 務 之 外 , 她 還 開
始 給 新 人 們 當 老 師 。「 教 她 們 的 時 候 , 真 會 有 種 『 書 到
用 時 方 恨 少 』 的 感 覺 。 因 為 每 個 人 都 不 一 樣 , 適 合 我 的
方 法 未 必 適 合 她 們 , 我 要 對 症 下 藥 地 解 決 她 們 的 問 題 。
這 個 過 程 也 是 我 自 己 學 習 的 過 程 , 豐 富 了 我 自 己 。」 王
琛 說 , 她 看 到 現 在 新 來 的 學 生 , 總 會 覺 得 自 己 是 個 過 來
人 , 想 讓 她 們 少 走 點 彎 路 。
「 主 要 是 幫 助 她 們 舞 蹈 上 提 升 吧 ! 至 於 生 活 上 , 我
更 願 意 和 大 家 多 分 享 快 樂 的 事 情 , 痛 苦 自 己 消 化 了 吧 !
畢 竟 她 們 都 比 我 年 紀 小 , 自 己 能 照 顧 好 自 己 就 很 好 了 ,
我 就 不 再 給 別 人 添 麻 煩 了 。」 說 到 這 裏 王 琛 笑 了 笑 , 好
像 一 切 都 如 此 自 然 , 她 儼 然 已 是 一 位 可 以 令 人 依 靠 和 信
賴 的 大 姐 姐 了 。
由 心 而 舞
儘 管 王 琛 征 服 了 讓 很 多 女 舞 蹈 演 員 望 而 卻 步 的 技
巧 , 但 中 國 古 典 舞 中 的 身 韻 對 於 她 來 說 就 是 更 需 要 時 間
和 內 心 成 長 來 提 升 的 部 份 了 。
At Fei Tian Academy in New York — where many Shen
Yun performers first start dancing — Wang quickly took
to tumbling, practicing techniques more than 100 times
every day.
Her devotion paid off. Within the first six years of joining
Shen Yun’s touring troupe, she had earned three gold medals
at international dance competitions. Though young in age,
almost a thousand performances around the world matured
her far beyond her years.
Despite her quick rise on the world stage, a humble perfectionism
always drives her. “I always feel I do not do well
enough. I don’t feel depressed, just that I’m not good enough.”
Inside out
Classical Chinese dance is similar to the process of peeling
away layers of an onion. As Wang pursued a more perfect
art, she realised the layers underneath the surface were most
important, and the sweetest.
One core distinction of Chinese classical dance is the
concept of bearing — the idea that each gesture, spin, physicality
and expression originates from the dancer’s spirit. It’s
like a wheel with bearing at its centre; the spokes — the
diverse characteristics of classical Chinese dance, such as a
