Pat mcgrath, Pm group
Pat is CEO of the Ireland-headquartered PM Group, which
employs over 1,700 personnel in Ireland, UK, Belgium,
Sweden, France, Poland, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria,
Singapore, India, China, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
Devereux Architects, London, and PM Greene Engineers,
San Jose, are PM Group companies. PM Group provides
project management, architectural/engineering design and
construction management services in the private and public
sectors, with a particular focus on the biopharmaceutical,
medical technology, healthcare, advanced manufacturing
and ‘cleantech/greentech’ sectors. Over 50% of PM Group’s
work originates outside of Ireland. Pat holds Bachelor and
Masters degrees in engineering from University College Dublin
and an MBA from the Open University. He is a Fellow of the
Institution of Engineers of Ireland and a member of the Irish
Academy of Engineering. He is a member of the Board of
the Irish Management Institute and he is a former member
of the governing body of Cork Institute of Technology. Pat is
also non-executive chairperson of the Health Information and
Quality Authority in Ireland (HIQA). HIQA was established in
2007 as part of Ireland’s Health Service Reform Programme.
Stuart mclachlan, WSP
Stuart qualified as an environmental scientist before joining
John Laing plc where he completed his postgraduate MSc
in Environmental Pollution Science. In 1995 he joined WSP
Group plc to develop a business plan for their environmental
consulting business, which he then took a leadership
role in. In 1997 he was made managing director of WSP
environment and energy. Having established one of the leading
environmental consultancies in the UK, Stuart embarked on a
strategy to develop the business into one of the sector-leading
consultancies globally. In addition to his commitment to WSP
environment and energy, Stuart also has a broader role, and in
2006 was appointed to WSP Group’s plc board where one of
his duties is to lead the sustainability strategy for the company.
