with what happens on the ground.
Seminar two: mergers and Acquisitions
Facilitated by Andrej Avelini, EFCG, USA
With a number of high profile mergers and acquisitions in recent months, this is
a chance to discuss what the phenomenon means for the industry. This seminar
will examine why consolidation is happening, the implications for smaller firms,
and why we might expect more big mergers. The session will also ask whether
the industry should be concerned about cross-border takeovers.
Seminar three: managing business in challenging economic climate

Following decades of relatively stable global growth, this is a chance to debate
and challenge the different approaches needed when facing less certain times.
