Maura nods as she passes Jess the keys. “Do me a favor. Please don’t mention this to Blaire or

Callie if you see them before I do. Blaire’s at work and Callie is at school right now, but Jane

and I plan on talking to them tonight after we know more. The twins and Amelia, I, I haven’t

Nanny, Cook, House cleaner, especially since all the little kids are in school now. I do it all. It’s

my choice of course. I like to stay busy.”

“Well, they are definitely grateful. Ma much prefers your cooking but don't’ tell Maura I told

you that. Ma either as far as that goes,” Jess says with a laugh.

"Maura asked me if I'd be willing to do some sanitizing this morning. In case……” Emily’s

voice trails off.

“In case Cailin has to start chemo,” Jess finished for her.

“I’m sorry Jess. I didn’t mean…..”
