10 minutes later the brunette came through the back door. "Cailin?"

"In the living room," she called back. When Blaire rounded the couch she could see that Cailin

had been crying. Quickly dropping her bag, she sat down next to the upset girl and hugged her.

"Hey, what's the matter? Why are you crying? Is it Jess? Did she do something to hurt you

because I swear…" Blaire’s rant was cut off by Cailin throwing her hand over her mouth.

"I'm going to move my hand but when I do, I just want you to listen and not say a word until I'm

done, understood?" Blaire nodded. Cailin slowly pulled her hand away.

"You know Cailin, if you were anyone else, I would have licked your hand for covering my

mouth like that," Blaire said with a grin.

"Okay, first off gross and secondly, what did you mean when you asked if Jess hurt me?" Cailin

asked in a hushed tone, not to draw attention from Jane and Maura.

"C’mon Cailin I may be a little dense sometimes but I'm not blind. I've seen the way the two of

you look at each other. I don't know how my moms haven't noticed. I mean, you two have only

been doing it for the last 5 years." Cailins face blushed, causing Blaire to laugh.

Blaire leaned in closer to Cailin. "Did something finally happen between you two?"

"No, I mean yes, but we can talk about that later," Cailin uttered.

"Ha! I knew it!" Blaire said loudly, causing Cailin to shush her before covering her mouth again.

This time, Blaire did lick her.

"Eww! Blaire gross!" The blonde laughed. "I warned you." Cailin huffed. "We can talk about

that later but that's not why I asked you to come over."
