"Thinking about what?"

"Is it too late for you to come back over?" Jess pulled her phone away from her ear, noting the

time,11:30 PM. "It's a bit late and I have to get up and to the station early," Jess said with

disappointment in her voice, though she was actually grinning.

"Oh, well that's okay," Cailin said with the same level of disappointment.

"How about I come over during lunch and then when my shift is over, maybe we could go see a

movie?" Cailin groaned. "That's such a long time from now," Cailin remarked with a pout,

knowing Jess couldn't see her.

Jess laughed. "Don't pout, you're too beautiful to pout."

"I'm not pouting," Cailin said, trying to hide her laugh.

In the time they had been on the phone, Jess managed to make it back to the house and inside

without Cailin hearing and at this moment was standing in Cailins doorway as the brunette's back

was facing her.

Cailin raised her eyebrow. "How could you possibly know what my face is doing all the way

from your apartment?"

Jess didn't say anything she just hung up. Cailin looked down at her phone. "Did she hang up on

me?" She stared at her phone in puzzlement.

"Because I'm not at my apartment." Jess said grinning. When Cailin heard Jess's voice from

within her room she turned around to see none other than Jess.
