Tam grinned. “Elwin made him wait out in the hall—and he was not

happy about it.”

“It was either that or strap him down to one of the cots so he’d stop

all the frantic pacing,” Elwin explained, adjusting her pillow to prop

her head up a little more.

“I would’ve voted for that,” Tam noted.

of letting me treat them, Lovise gave her some sort of goblin
