India has one of the worlds largest collections of songs,
music, dance, theatre, folk traditions, performing arts, rites
and rituals, paintings and writings that are known, as the
Intangible Cultural Heritage Additionally, culture is a way
through which we behave with others, how softly we react
to different things, our understanding of ethics, values, and
beliefs. The IDS activities offered a comprehensive
information related to cultural heritage and, performing
arts of India, Indonesia, Myanmar and Malaysia through its
international dimentions. Students and team members
participated enthusiastically in the activities and displayed
their best in all aspects.l feel overwhelmed to be a part of
this project. It was not merely a project but a wonderful
teaching learning experience along with our budding
artists.

It's a privilege to be a part of the IDS project working together for the all round
development of the students by assisting them and providing them a platform
for showcasing their talents. The British Council IDS project provided a new
and unique platform to know and explore cross cultures of Indonesia, Malaysia
and Myanmar along with India. Culture plays an important role in the
development of any nation. It represents a set of shared attitudes, values, goals
and practices. Culture and creativity manifest themselves in almost all
economic, social and other activities. A country as diverse as India is symbolized
by the plurality of its culture. The lDS projects are geared towards students
from different classes and age groups. It was a wonderful experience designing
and conducting the activities along with our talented team. When it comes to
guiding and instructing your students on the importance of their creativity is
just as important as sparking it, students involved in the activities were excited
and enthusiastic to learn and explore as much as they can on the given topics.
