Aim : This project aimed to familarize the various art form of India, Nepal, Sri
Lanka, Bangladesh and UAE .
Content
TRADITIONAL PAINTINGS - E-mail exchange / Video Conferencing :
Grade 7 and 8 students made wall paintings of special art forms of
India , Sri Lanka , Bangladesh , UAE , Nepal . They also prepared a PPT
on the art forms describing their origin , designs , methodology and
tools used to be shared with the partner school via Cisco Webex .
PPT PRESENTATION - Students will weave cloth with various styles of
Knitting and Quelling of chosen countries . Live interaction with
Partner school will be held followed by Group Discussion . Scrap book
showcasing the handmade samples will be prepared .
BVM JUNIOR CHEF – An online cookery contest will be conducted
followed by Live Interaction with the partner school and a Quiz
Competition on the topic will be held .
LEARNING OUTCOMES :
Knowledge : Gain conceptual knowledge regarding the different art
forms , harvest and cuisines of festivals of India , Asian , European ,
Middle East countries .
Skills :Artistic talent , determination and commitment , self belief ,
ability to come up with and develop good ideas , Visual Communication
skills , Self – promotional skill , Technical ability , Good organizational
skill and the ability to meet deadlines , hand on coordination ,
