The aim of the activity is to familiarize the various art form of India, Nepal, S ri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and by
trying to collaborate and partner with the country Nepal for the exchange of famous art forms, knitting style and
harvest delight wherein the school will learn from one another and make diverse range of art forms reflecting the
cross cultural identities of one another. To Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable
industrialization and foster innovation taking into consideration.

OUR A R T COR NE R - S tudents will be taught the special art forms viz. India Madhubani painting,S ri lanka- mural
, Nepal newa art, Bangladesh - alpona. Each class will be given a topic and will be asked to beautifying a corner
wall of their house through art . Painting will be sent across to the partner school in Nepal and photographs of the
same will be posted on the school facebook page. The students will prepare PPT on the art forms wherein they will
describe the origin of art forms, designs, methodology, tools used . The ppts will be shared via Z OOM App or live
interaction through S KYPE S ES S IONS wherein both school will learn from one another and make special art forms
during the live session discuss about its origin and painting style reflecting the cross cultural identities of one
another ( INDIA- NEPAL) . The samples of their work will be exchanged through email.
W E A V E T O B I ND T OG E T H E R - S tudents will be weaving cloth with single yarn and double yarn. Along with Indian
styles ( Knitting and Quelling) , India- Nepal kachichi embroidery, UAE - al- sadu, Bangladesh kantha stich and will
be shared through Ppt and will present their creations through virtual platform. Live Interaction S ession via Cisco
webex /Z oom app will be conducted wherein the partner school from Nepal will share their weaving style and help
us to learn about their special knots. Group discussion will be conducted on the importance of weaving and types of
knots, types of yarns in the partner school and report will be shared through email. S crapbook will be prepared
showcasing the handmade samples and the students learning will be evaluated using a questionnaire on knitting
types.
H A R V E S T D E L I GH T - S tudents will prepare cuisine related to harvest festiv als makarsankranti - til- gud, Nepal
dashain - yomari punh, S ri lanka pongal - sakkarai pongal, Bangladesh nabanno pithe .BVM J UNIOR CHEF
online cookery contest conducted and shared through school Facebook page and other virtual platform with that of
the partner school. During the Liv e Intercation with the partner school from Nepal will be held through Z OOM
App/Cisco webex wherein they will prepare the famous delicacy of their country whereas we will prepare ours from
Maharashtra ( TIL GUD) . S tudents will write the recipe and make a booklet, with picture that will be shared on
facebook page. The students learning of the collaboration will be evaluated through a quiz competition. Photographs
will be shared through email.
