The DRIVE-CLiQ interface is either established through the sensor module at the motor<br />
(motors with DRIVE-CLiQ) or in the cabinet using sensor module, cabinet-mounted (for<br />
motors without DRIVE-CLiQ).<br />
2.4 <strong>Motors</strong> with DRIVE-CLiQ<br />
<strong>Motors</strong> with DRIVE-CLiQ have a sensor module that includes the encoder evaluation, the<br />
motor temperature sensing as well as an electronic rating plate with a unique identification<br />
number and motor and encoder-specific data.<br />
These motors with DRIVE-CLiQ can be connected to the corresponding motor module<br />
directly via the MOTION-CONNECT DRIVE-CLiQ cables supplied. This means that data is<br />
directly transferred to the control unit.<br />
These motors make start-up and diagnostics much easier, as the motor and encoder type<br />
can be identified automatically.<br />
