Mit Blick auf die Zukunft<br />
Das »Große Hamburger Medienhaus <strong>Berlin</strong>« will Vergangenheit und Zukunft<br />
unter einem Dach vereinen<br />
Antonia Schulemann, Redakteurin und Kolumnistin<br />
für namhafte Lifestyle- und Wirtschaftsmedien sowie<br />
Co-Founderin des Verlags Beshu Books, gründete mit dem<br />
»Große Hamburger Medienhaus <strong>Berlin</strong>« ein Start-Up, bei<br />
dem sich alles rund um das Thema »Bücher« dreht: Im gemütlich-stilvollen<br />
Showroom können ausgewählte Raritäten<br />
bewundert und bestaunt werden. Die Vintage-Werke können<br />
hier auch direkt erworben werden, eine andere Möglichkeit<br />
bietet der moderne Online-Shop. Gleichzeitig konzentriert<br />
sich das Team des Verlags auf seine Eigenveröffentlichungen,<br />
die im Bereich Corporate Publishing auch Portraits von<br />
und für namhafte Unternehmer*innen umfassen, aber auch<br />
Sachwerke wie das Premierenbuch »Perspektive Avus <strong>–</strong> im<br />
Rausch der Zeit«, das anlässlich des 100 jährigen Jubiläums<br />
der <strong>Berlin</strong>er Rennstrecke entstand. Im Juni <strong>2022</strong> kam<br />
noch das neue Indie-Label »Book on Mars« hinzu, unter<br />
dessen Namen Schulemann und ihr Team Literaturwerke<br />
der Gegenwart publizieren und mit einem zukunftsgerichteten<br />
Blick die Genres Sachbücher, Romane, Dystopien<br />
und Bildbände abdecken. Als erste eigene Publikation soll<br />
ein Buch über erfolgreiche <strong>Berlin</strong>er Unternehmerinnen<br />
im Herbst <strong>2022</strong> erscheinen, auch ein hauseigener<br />
Literaturwettbewerb mit anschließender Anthologie-<br />
Veröffentlichung ist für 2023 angedacht.<br />
Focussing on the future<br />
Editor and columnist Antonia Schulemann worked for multiple<br />
renowned lifestyle and economics magazines before beconing a<br />
co-founder for <strong>Berlin</strong>-based label Beshu Books and <strong>–</strong> in <strong>2022</strong> -<br />
founding both her own literature startup »Große Hamburger Medienhaus<br />
<strong>Berlin</strong>« as well as her label «Books on Mars«. In the Medienhaus’<br />
cozy show room customers can browse the available vintage<br />
books <strong>–</strong>which they are also free to purchase. Another opportunity for<br />
literature purchases is the modern online shop of »Große Hamburger<br />
Medienhaus <strong>Berlin</strong>«. The team of Antonia Schulemann mostly<br />
focuses on publishing in the areas of corporate publishing, providing<br />
portraits to and about well-known entrepreneurs and managers, as<br />
well as non-fiction literature, for example the first book released in<br />
the Medienhaus »Perspektive Avus <strong>–</strong> im Rausch der Zeit«. On<br />
the other hand the indie label »Books on Mars« specializes in publishing<br />
fictional and non-fictional works, including novels, dystopias<br />
and photo books. The first »book on Mars« is scheduled to be published<br />
in Autumn <strong>2022</strong>, dealing with the topic of successful female<br />
entrepreneurs in the city of <strong>Berlin</strong>.<br />
