The spirit of the Westin brand vision is based on “well-being.” This lighting design embodies the biophilic<br />
design with suggestions of natural light breaking through thick foliage and lighting methods to highlight<br />
greenery. In the reception lobby, lighting seems to sway in a calm breeze, simulated in a large-scale<br />
chandelier. Brightness and shade of color also change to simulate natural lighting in a grove of trees. The<br />
building facade designed like sailboat which embodies Yokohama, as a city that has thrived in trade and<br />
commerce. Inside, the harbor and nature coalesce the interior design, for an elegant and comfortable<br />
lighting environment.
