The Singtel Waterfront Theatre is an extension of Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay along the waterfront at<br />
Marina Bay in Singapore.The architectural design concept was conceived to mirror the image of Marina<br />
Bay using a reflective light box facade during the day. We designed a delicate nighttime image by projecting<br />
patterns of light and shadow from the light box onto the building facade, representing the theatre as a place<br />
for freedom of expression and performance for the artist. At dusk, the facade and interior lighting slowly<br />
comes aglow and completes the Marina Bay nightscape with its dynamic lighting effect. People strolling<br />
along the promenade will be surprised by the gentle movement of light and soft glow at various times,<br />
creating moments of delight.
