What If?

When the family was
moving cross-country
the Mom and Dad
each needed to drive
one of their two cars.
Their eight-year old
son worriedly asked,
“What if we get
separated?”
“We’ll drive slowly so
that one car can follow
the other,” the Dad
reassured him.
“Yes, but what if we
DO get separated?”
the son persisted.
“Well, then I guess
we’ll never see each
other again,” the Dad
answered back
jokingly.
“Okay,” the boy said.
“I’m riding with Mom.”
Scavenger
Hunt

A woman answered her
front door and saw a
little boy holding a list.
“Ma’am,” he explained,
“I’m on a scavenger
hunt, and I still need
three grains of wheat,
a pork-chop bone and
a piece of used carbon
paper so I can earn a
dollar.”
“Wow,” the woman
replied. “Who sent you
on such a challenging
hunt?”
“My babysitters
boyfriend.”
