msgprocid<br />

Privilege Class: G<br />

Use the DETACH MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong> to detach the specified message processor<br />

<strong>and</strong> message devices from the issuer’s I/O configuration.<br />

msgprocid<br />

specifies the user ID of the CF Service Virtual Machine to be deleted. <strong>CP</strong> will<br />

break the Coupling Facility connections between the user ID that issues this<br />

comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> the user ID specified by msgprocid.<br />

1. To define a virtual message processor <strong>and</strong> associated virtual message devices,<br />

use the DEFINE MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

2. To display information about virtual message processors in your I/O<br />

configuration, use the QUERY VIRTUAL MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

3. To display information about the virtual message devices within your I/O<br />

configuration, use the QUERY VIRTUAL MSGDEVICES comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

4. To restart a virtual message processor that is within your I/O configuration, use<br />

the RESTART MSGPROC comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

5. To remove all message facility capability from your virtual machine, use the SET<br />

MSGFACIL OFF comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

6. SET IMSG OFF suppresses informational messages for this comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

To detach the CFCC1 message processor <strong>and</strong> associated message devices from<br />

your I/O configuration, enter the following:<br />
