Use the HYPERSWAP command to perform Disaster Recovery failover processing
on PPRC-linked DASD.
The DISable function disables the real devices for Hyperswap automatic quiesce
processing.
The ENAble function enables the real devices for Hyperswap automatic quiesce
processing.
The QUIesce function stops de-queuing all Start I/O requests hanging off the
queues for the real devices entered.
The SWAp function will swap all relevant real device information associated with the
primary PPRC device (source) entered as the first device in the device pair with the
secondary PPRC device (target) that is entered as the second device in the device
pair. When operating on ranges of device pairs the range length (numDevs) is equal
for both devices and there exists a one-to-one correspondence device number.
The RESume function starts de-queuing all Start I/O requests hanging off the
queues for the previously quiesced devices.
DISable
ENAble
