R&S <strong>ZVL</strong>-<strong>K1</strong> Noise Figure Measurements Option (K30)<br />

Specifies <strong>the</strong> suppression applied to <strong>the</strong> second sideband. This field is only available if a<br />

frequency–converting measurement mode is selected. For details on modes refer to<br />

"Measurement modes of <strong>the</strong> noise figure measurement" on page 3.227.<br />

The value entered is applied across <strong>the</strong> complete frequency range. A value of 999.99 dB<br />

corresponds to <strong>the</strong> generally used single–sideband measurement (SSB), where <strong>the</strong> second<br />

sideband does not noticeably affect <strong>the</strong> measurement result. This is <strong>the</strong> default value. A value of<br />

0 dB corresponds to <strong>the</strong> double–sideband measurement (DSB), where both sidebands are<br />

converted to <strong>the</strong> same extent.<br />

Display List/Graph<br />

Configures <strong>the</strong> result display. The measurement results are displayed ei<strong>the</strong>r in <strong>for</strong>m of a list of<br />

measurement points or as a graphical trace. For fur<strong>the</strong>r details refer to "Result displays" on page<br />

3.228.<br />

Display Settings<br />

Opens <strong>the</strong> Graphic dialog box to modify <strong>the</strong> graphical results display.<br />

Under Results Settings, <strong>the</strong> settings that affect <strong>the</strong> overall results display are defined. Under<br />

Noise Trace Settings, <strong>the</strong> settings related to <strong>the</strong> graphical display of noise results are defined.<br />

Under Gain Trace Settings, <strong>the</strong> settings related to <strong>the</strong> graphical display of gain results are<br />

defined.<br />

The Graphic dialog box contains <strong>the</strong> following elements:<br />
