R&S <strong>ZVL</strong>‑<strong>K1</strong> SENSe Subsystem<br />

[SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:SOURce<br />

This command toggles between external gate signal and IF power signal as a signal source <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> gate mode. If an IF power signal is used, <strong>the</strong> gate is opened as soon as a signal at > –20<br />

dBm is detected within <strong>the</strong> IF path bandwidth (10 MHz).<br />

The numeric suffixes are not relevant.<br />

This command sets <strong>the</strong> type of triggering (level or edge) by <strong>the</strong> external gate signal.<br />

The gate is edge–triggered ([SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:TYPE EDGE):<br />

After detection of <strong>the</strong> set gate signal edge, <strong>the</strong> gate remains open until <strong>the</strong> gate delay<br />

([SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:HOLDoff) has expired.<br />

The gate is level–triggered ([SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:TYPE LEVel):<br />

After detection of <strong>the</strong> gate signal, <strong>the</strong> gate remains open until <strong>the</strong> gate signal disappears. The<br />

gate opening time cannot be defined with <strong>the</strong> parameter<br />

[SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:LENGth.<br />

A delay between applying <strong>the</strong> gate signal and <strong>the</strong> start of recording measured values can be<br />

defined with [SENSe:]SWEep:EGATe:HOLDoff.<br />

The numeric suffixes are not relevant.<br />
