Add Channel<br />

Inserts a new channel below <strong>the</strong> one selected. The default values <strong>for</strong> a new channel are:<br />

ChannelType MAC<br />

Walsh Ch.SF 2.64<br />

SymbolRate 19.2 ksps (automatically calculated)<br />

Modulation BPSK-I<br />

Power 0 dB (automatically calculated)<br />

State Off<br />

DomainConflict No (automatically calculated)<br />

To change <strong>the</strong> channel type use <strong>the</strong> dropdown menu that opens when selecting / highlighting<br />

<strong>the</strong> Channel Type field that should be changed and pressing <strong>the</strong> ENTER key. The radio<br />

configuration settings are changed in <strong>the</strong> same way.<br />

To change <strong>the</strong> channel number type ano<strong>the</strong>r channel number in <strong>the</strong> <strong>for</strong>m<br />

'ChannelNumber.SpreadingFactor' or simply <strong>the</strong> code number (see Select Code Slot <strong>for</strong><br />

details) in <strong>the</strong> respective field and confirm <strong>the</strong> change with <strong>the</strong> ENTER key.<br />

To activate or deactivate a channel, simply select <strong>the</strong> field and confirm with <strong>the</strong> ENTER key.<br />

The R&S <strong>ZVL</strong>-<strong>K1</strong> automatically checks <strong>for</strong> conflicts between two active channels.<br />

Deletes <strong>the</strong> selected channel without fur<strong>the</strong>r notice.<br />

Initiates a measurement in Automatic Channel Search mode. The measurement results are<br />

applied to <strong>the</strong> active channel table. The active channel table is overwritten without fur<strong>the</strong>r notice.<br />

The softkey is only available if <strong>the</strong> Auto Search mode is selected in <strong>the</strong> Channel Table<br />

Settings dialog box.<br />

Sorts <strong>the</strong> table according to <strong>the</strong> following rules.<br />

First off, active channels are separated from inactive channels. Within <strong>the</strong>se categories sorting is<br />

<strong>the</strong>n done first by <strong>the</strong> channel type and next by <strong>the</strong> spreading factor in ascending order. Last,<br />

<strong>the</strong> sorting is done by <strong>the</strong> code number, also in ascending order.<br />

Saves <strong>the</strong> table under its specified name in <strong>the</strong> xml-<strong>for</strong>mat. If you edit a channel table and want<br />

to keep <strong>the</strong> original channel table, change <strong>the</strong> name of <strong>the</strong> edited channel table be<strong>for</strong>e saving it.<br />
