Puebla de los Ángeles is the capital and largest city of the state<br />
of Puebla, and one of the five most important Spanish colonial<br />
cities in <strong>Mexico</strong> (World Heritage by UNESCO since December<br />
1987).<br />
Located 100 km east of <strong>Mexico</strong> City, at the foot of the<br />
Popocatepetl volcano, Puebla is a pleasant destination with<br />
interesting museums, colorful markets, one of the richest<br />
gastronomies in <strong>Mexico</strong> and a lot of history and culture. The<br />
center is compact, with beautiful buildings, old mansions<br />
covered in azulejos tiles and many churches. Talavera<br />
ceramics are made in Puebla and so is mole.<br />
Puebla de los Ángeles es la ciudad más grande y capital del estado<br />
de Puebla y una de las cinco ciudades coloniales españolas más<br />
importantes de México (Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la<br />
UNESCO desde diciembre de 1987).<br />
Situado a 100 km al este de la Ciudad de México, al pie del volcán<br />
Popocatepetl, Puebla es un destino agradable con interesantes<br />
museos, coloridos mercados, una de las más ricas gastronomías<br />
de México y mucha historia y cultura. El centro es compacto, con<br />
hermosos edificios, viejas mansiones cubiertas de azulejos y<br />
montones de iglesias. La cerámica Talavera se fabrica en Puebla<br />
y también el mole.<br />
