The MENA region's helicopter fleet stood at 834 at the end of the fourth<br />
quarter of <strong>2022</strong>, up 3.1% from <strong>Q4</strong> of 2020. There were three net additions<br />
to the fleet compared to the third quarter, as a result of five additions and<br />
two deductions. Saudi Arabia and Morocco saw the most additions with<br />
two more aircraft apiece. The fleet has grown at a rate of 2.1% since Q1<br />
of <strong>2022</strong>.<br />

Bell and Leonardo were the leading OEMs in the MENA helicopter fleet<br />
and have a combined 68% share of the regional fleet. Airbus was the<br />
third largest OEM in the region with a 24% market share. Medium-sized<br />
helicopters had the greatest share of the regional fleet. The Leonardo<br />
AW139, the Bell 407 and Bell 412 series were the most popular OEM<br />
models, each with more than 90 helicopters. All nine Super Medium<br />
helicopters in the fleet were Leonardo AW189 units.<br />
