5.3 Results and Discussion<br />

When the Bartlett test for homogeneity of the variance was conducted it<br />

showed that 2005 and 2006 had variances that were not equal and should not be<br />

analyzed together, therefore, 2005 and 2006 results are presented separately.<br />

5.3.1 ANOVA for 2005 and 2006<br />

From the 2005 analysis genotype, location, treatment, location x genotype,<br />

and location x treatment effects were significant. The genotype x treatment<br />

interaction was not significant in 2005 (Table 5.4).<br />

In 2006 all of the main effects and interactions were highly significant. This<br />

was similar to 2005 except that the genotype x treatment interaction was also<br />

significant (Figure 5.5). A significant genotype x treatment interaction is similar to<br />
