departure. We depart for London.
London. We arrive in London and transfer to
our hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.
This evening is our Welcome Dinner.
London. Our city tour shows us
Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, St.
Paul's, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Trafalgar
Square and more. Afternoon at leisure.
stonehenge / saLisBurY / Bath. We
visit ancient Stonehenge with its tales of the
Druids and sun worship. We then visit
Salisbury Cathedral before travelling on to the
Roman town of Bath for a 2-night stay.
Bath. Our tour of this unique city shows us
the hot springs, the unique Georgian
architecture and a visit of the 15th century
Bath Abbey, England’s last great medieval
church. Afternoon at leisure to explore the
Georgian streets and picturesque walkways.
WaLes / chester. We enter Wales and
visit the amazing Dewstow Gardens. These
gardens, with their tunnels and underground
grottoes, were buried for 50 years and
rediscovered in 2000. We continue on to
medieval Chester, and our tour there will show
us the walls which encircle the city, the unique
two tiered shopping galleries (known as the
'rows') and the black and white old buildings.
WaLes / chester. We head up to North
Wales, a fascinating mix of modern seaside
resorts and historic, ancient towns. We visit
Conwy Castle, perhaps the most impressive
of all the medieval Welsh castles. We return to
Chester for some free time to explore.
YorK. We proceed to York, the traditional
county town of Yorkshire. Steeped in history
and period architecture, tourists flock here to
see the surviving medieval buildings, the
Shambles (one of Britains best known
streets), and of course York Minster, the most
dramatic church in Northern England. We will
enjoy a walking tour of these sights and then
some free time to explore and shop.
YorK. A day of scenic beauty as we enjoy a
nostalgic train ride through the spectacular
countryside with its vast moorlands, dramatic
sea cliffs and the hidden valleys of the
Yorkshire Moors. Later we enjoy a fabulous
home cooked pub dinner in a quaint village on
the edge of the moors.

edinBurgh. We travel north to Scotland. As
we drive through the area known as the
“Borders” enjoy the views of rolling green hills,
moorlands and quaint towns until we arrive at
our centrally located hotel in Edinburgh.
edinBurgh. With its stunning Georgian and
Victorian architecture and winding medieval
streets, Edinburgh is listed as a World
Heritage Site. Our city tour will include a visit
to Edinburgh Castle. Afternoon at leisure
followed by dinner at a local pub.
inVerness. Our first stop is St. Andrews,
home to the game of golf for over 600 years
and also the third oldest university in Britain.
Our walking tour will show us the ruins of the
cathedral, castle and parts of the campus.
After some free time to explore we proceed to
the Culloden battlefield where Bonnie Prince
Charlie was defeated in 1745. This evening
we enjoy a special Highlander performance.
sKYe. We travel along the shores of Loch
Ness, where we may catch a glimpse of the
famous monster 'Nessie'. We visit the
magnificently located Urquhart Castle, and
then Eilean Donan, located within a secluded
inlet between the mainland and Isle of Skye, it
is one of the most iconic images of Scotland.
ft. WiLLiaM. Today we experience the
unforgettable Isle of Skye, a place where time
means nothing. The island is dominated by
the visual treat of the jagged Cuillin
Mountains. We will have free time in the old
capital of Portree with its colourful houses and
traditional harbour, and visit the pastoral south
of the island. We then ferry across the Sound
of Sleat back to mainland and proceed to Ft.
William. This evening we dine at a local inn.
gLasgoW. We drive through Glen Coe, site
of one of Scotland’s most infamous battles.
Before entering Glasgow we visit a “lowland”
distillery for a tour and a wee dram! After
checking into our central Glasgow hotel we
drive into Ayrshire to experience Scottish
hospitality, food and entertainment.
gLasgoW. Our city tour shows us the
elegant streets lined with beautifully
preserved Victorian buildings, the magnificent
City Chambers, Glasgow Cathedral and the
Doulton Fountain (the largest terracotta
fountain in the world). Afternoon at leisure
followed by our Farewell Dinner.
hoMe. We fly home via London.
