n this tour we explore the fascinating
countries of Lebanon and Oman, and the
exciting emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in
the United Arab Emirates, all ancient cultures
rich in history, stunning natural beauty and
exciting modern development.
We begin in Lebanon, at the crossroads of
three continents. The Lebanese are a blend of
Mediterranean and Middle Eastern with large
doses of French panache. The legacy of the
French occupation left its obvious mark on
Lebanon’s cuisine, language and culture (after
all, Beirut is known as the “Paris of the Middle
East”). We will experience the revitalized
Beirut, explore the archaeological wonders
(windows into the cradle of civilization) and
simply enjoy the hospitable, friendly and
gregarious people.
Next is Dubai, a glittering desert gem where
extreme luxury and international flavor co-exist
with a traditional society. The contrast of aweinspiring
sky scrapers of steel and glass
overlooking old wooden boats unloading their
spices and wares makes this a very unique
destination. Our touring here will include a visit
to the top of the tallest building in the world, the
Lost City of Atlantis, the man-made island of
Palm Jumeirah, and much, much more.
From Dubai we travel to the capital of the
United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Situated on
a small peninsula surrounded by a cluster of
islands, it is an ultra-modern city with broad
boulevards, tall buildings, bustling shops and
restaurants, as well as attractive parks and
gardens. We will visit impressive Sheikh
Zayed Grand Mosque, the lively Fish Market,
historic Al Hosn Fort and the Heritage Village to
experience how life was lived in the past.

We then continue to Oman where our
sightseeing will include the ancient Beehive
Tombs of Bat, imposing Nizwa Fort, the
decorated ceilings of Jabreen Castle, a
preserved irrigation system, a Bedouin Cattle
Market, Wadi Shab (a natural wonder of cliffs
and green pools), the Grand Mosque of Muscat
and Muttrah Souq, the oldest souq in Oman.
