his delightful holiday begins with a 3-night
stay in Paris including sightseeing, free time
and dinners at local restaurants.
Following our stay in Paris we travel to Lyon
where we board the MS Amadagio for a
leisurely and scenic cruise along the Saone and
Rhone Rivers of France. The cruise will take us
through the magnificent region of Provence,
including the beautiful wine growing regions of
Beaujolais, Cote du Rhone and Chateauneuf.
We will also have the opportunity to explore the
Roman city of Arles, marvelous Avignon and the
medieval wonder of Carcassone - a must-see
UNESCO World Heritage site. A special feature
of this cruise is that all of the listed excursions
are included and expertly conducted by English
speaking guides.
Our cruise ends in Arles (France) from where
we proceed to Spain’s most lively and colourful
city, Barcelona, for a 3-night stay with
sightseeing and dinners at local restaurants.
Our riverboat, the Deluxe MS Amadagio, is an
intimate ship built specially for cruising the
rivers of Europe. Aboard you may relax in one of
the bars or lounges, or on the sun deck with its
comfortable deck chairs. There is a beauty
salon, gift shop, fitness centre, whirlpool,
walking track and massage room.
We will enjoy superb dining on board with
special theme dinners. As an added bonus
there will be unlimited included wine from
France's great wine regions with every dinner
on board the ship.
The nightly entertainment features folkloric and
musical performances, informative lectures on
the towns and villages we visit and piano music.
