departure. We depart for London.<br />

southaMpton / eMBarKation. We<br />

arrive in London and transfer to<br />

Southampton to we board our ship. This<br />

evening is our first delicious dinner<br />

aboard.<br />

guernseY, channeL isLands. The<br />

Channel Islands are exceptionally<br />

picturesque and they also have a<br />

fascinating history. We disembark at the<br />

historic fortress of St. Peters Port. This is<br />

a lovely town in which to stroll, and you<br />

may want to visit Victor Hugo's house of<br />

exile which is now a museum.<br />

corK, ireLand. Today you will have a<br />

chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone,<br />

and then stroll along Cork’s lively<br />

pedestrian shopping street. Optional<br />

tours will be offered to see some of<br />

Ireland’s other remarkable landmarks, as<br />

well as the wonderful green countryside<br />

duBLin, ireLand. A full day to explore<br />

the charms of Dublin, Ireland’s capital<br />

city. Walk around the beautiful 18th<br />

century Georgian Squares and houses,<br />

the 12th century St. Patrick's Cathedral<br />

and Leister House (the Irish parliament).<br />

You could also visit a pub and sample the<br />

local brew.<br />

LiVerpooL. Not only is this fascinating<br />

old English city famous for the Beatles<br />

venues such as the Cavern Club, Penny<br />

Lane and Strawberry Fields, but it also<br />

boasts the finest collection of Victorian<br />

mercantile architecture and monuments,<br />

such that the waterfront is a designated<br />

UNESCO World Heritage Site. Optionals<br />

will be offered to see the stunning<br />

countryside of North Wales.<br />

gLasgoW, scotLand. There are<br />

many attractions to see in and around this<br />

great city, including the gothic Glasgow<br />

Cathedral, Inverary Castle and the<br />

cottage of the poet Robert Burns. An<br />

optional tour will be offered to the glorious<br />

highlands to see the mountains and<br />

heather.<br />

BeLfast, northern ireLand.<br />

Northern Ireland’s capital is a beautiful<br />

city of imposing Victorian architecture set<br />

within picturesque hills. See the grand<br />

City Hall, Opera House, the Stormont<br />

Parliament Buildings and beautiful parks.<br />

at sea. A welcome day of rest after the<br />

past week of sight-seeing. Watch the<br />

passing seascape, and of course the spa<br />

is open for a hairdo or massage.<br />

edinBurgh, scotLand. There is so<br />

much to see in Scotland’s lovely capital.<br />

You will want to visit Edinburgh Castle<br />

which dominates the city, and climb to the<br />

top for wonderful views. History comes<br />

alive along Princes Street and the Royal<br />

Mile, and the parks and gardens provide<br />

a lovely setting in which to stroll.<br />

inVerness, scotLand. The capital of<br />

the Scottish Highlands is a most<br />

interesting city in a picturesque locale.<br />

You may choose to go and see the ruins<br />

of the castles of Dunrobin and Urquhart,<br />

or go shopping for tartans, knitwear,<br />

tweeds and various crafts. The optional<br />

tour to Loch Ness will show you the<br />

Highland scenery and offer you a chance<br />

to look for the Loch Ness Monster.<br />

at sea. A final day to relax or enjoy the<br />

activites on board our ship.<br />

norMandY (Le haVre), france.<br />

The beaches of Normandy are home to<br />

many World War Two landmarks. You will<br />

have an opportunity to visit them, or join<br />

the optional tour to Paris.<br />

London. We disembark in the morning<br />

in Southampton and proceed to London<br />

where we enjoy a panoramic sightseeing<br />

tour. Highlights include Buckingham<br />

Palace, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the Tower<br />

of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the<br />

Canadian War Memorial and much more.<br />

Our tour finishes at our centrally located<br />

hotel where we will have some time at<br />

leisure before dinner<br />

hoMe. We transfer to the airport for our<br />

flight back to <strong>Canada</strong>.<br />
