materials, energy and so on.<br />
And it also produces half of all pollut<strong>in</strong>g<br />
elements. Nowadays, it costs from 10%<br />
to 17% more to construct a zero-energy<br />
build<strong>in</strong>g. But I believe that build<strong>in</strong>g<br />
and liv<strong>in</strong>g diff erently will, <strong>in</strong> the future,<br />
br<strong>in</strong>g as much change as the <strong>in</strong>dustrial<br />
revolution did. It will completely<br />
transform our society. This is very clear,<br />
but we do not necessarily consider it.<br />
In our societies, it is go<strong>in</strong>g to totally<br />
transform our ways of th<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g, and<br />
for those of us who are architects,<br />
it is go<strong>in</strong>g to transform architecture.”<br />
