died 1 6th February, 1897.<br />

i. ELIZABETH EDITH, born 27th July, 1865; married, nth<br />

January, 1894, the Rev. Barton R. V. Mills, and has issue.<br />

IV. MARMADUKE, born 1837 ; died 1893. Colonel, Bengal Staff Corps ;<br />

married, 1858, Anne, daughter <strong>of</strong> Lieut-General Innes, and has :<br />

2. ALEXANDER, born 1866.<br />

i. ELIZABETH MAULE.<br />

I. PATRICIA, married, I4th May, 1872, W. John de Courcey Agnevv,<br />

Commander, R.N.<br />

II. CHRISTINA, married, 1 4th February, 1859, Major Charles Elliot,<br />

C.B., Madras Staff Corps, youngest son <strong>of</strong> James Elliot <strong>of</strong><br />

Wolflee, and died I3th March, 1873.<br />

III. GEORGINA HARVEY, married, 2oth April, 1861, Lieut-General<br />

Sir R. J. Hay, K.C.B., R.A., second son <strong>of</strong> Admiral Hay <strong>of</strong><br />

Belton, Co. Haddington.<br />

Sir Alexander died 26th April, 1852, and was succeeded by his son.<br />

III.<br />

SIR ALEXANDER RAMSAY, 3rd BARONET, born 26th May, 1813,<br />

some time M.P. for Rochdale. He married, 29th December, 1835, Ellen<br />

Matilda, eldest daughter <strong>of</strong> John Entwisle <strong>of</strong> Foxholes, Co. Lancashire,<br />

and had :<br />
