Strategy
The change strategy we launched in 1998 focused
on two major elements: strengthening our leadership
in all our activities and accelerating the development
of the Pharmaceuticals Sector and our Specialties
products. These objectives have been more than met.
In June 2004 they were extended by giving unambiguous
priority to sustainable and profi table growth.
This strategic development commits the Group
on three fronts:
– priority on growth - in pharmaceuticals,
chemicals and selected plastics areas;
– innovation, the key to growth and to constantly
improving competitiveness;
– increased presence in Asia, the Americas
and Eastern Europe.
