curved or cambered airfoil surface, which on<br />

one side generates induced lift while on the<br />

rudder moves toward the direction <strong>of</strong> the rudder<br />

pedal that is pressed. This causes the<br />

airplane’s nose to point toward the direction<br />

(left or right) <strong>of</strong> the rudder pedal being pressed.<br />
