20 PURE-FLO ® STERILE ACCESS The Sterile Access Fabrication provides access into process system through a valve body when the main valve is in a drainable orientation. This configuration is ideal for sampling or as a condensate drain port. MODULAR VALVE ASSEMBLIES 21 21 The Modular Assemblies reduce contact surfaces, volume and dimensional envelope while reducing the cost and logistics of field fabrication. TOP VIEW FRONT VIEW The need to reduce contact surfaces and hold up volume in process applications in the Pharmaceutical/ Bioprocessing Industries is an ongoing challenge. In additon, the need to reduce the cost and logistics of field fabrication, while increasing the simplicity and ease of construction always provides a formidable challenge. In response to the need and requirements mentioned above, custom modular valve assemblies are available to reduce contact surfaces and hold volume while reducing the inherent cost of installation. Our trained field sales personnel can assist in the review of your P&IDs and suggest possible combinations of valves into modular assemblies. The result is a cost competitive engineered assembly, which by design: • reduces contact surfaces, hold up volume and dimensional envelopes • minimizes the cost, logistics and time of field construction • reduces weldments • provides an installation-ready assembly, pre-tested and qualified by the manufacturer MATERIALS AND SPECIFICATIONS • 316L Stainless Steel, ASTM A182 grade F316L, S9 forgings, sizes 1/4" through 3" and/or ASTM A479 wrought bodies, sizes 1/2" through 4.0". • Assembly available with FDA compliant PTFE and EPDM diaphragms. • Interior surface finishes available with mechanical finishes from 11μ in. Ra . to 35μ in. Ra . Electropolish over mechanical services is also available. • PAS, stainless steel, nylon coated, PVDF coated or white epoxy coated manual bonnet assemblies are available. • Diaphragm driven pnuematic Advantage Actuators are available.
