Bonnet isolation, streamlined fluid path, positive closure
and in-line maintenance are key features of the Pure-Flo
Diaphragm Valve, which contribute to its successful
performance in critical fermentation process systems.
Pure-Flo Diaphragm Valves are available in a variety of configurations
to satisfy your fermentation process requirements.
Sterile: Where concern regarding contamination is
paramount (i.e. inoculant vessel, primary fermentor and
transfer lines), welded end preparation and polished body
interiors are available. Hash marks on the valve body
assure drainability.
Sanitary/Hygienic: For post fermentation processing, the
Pure-Flo Diaphragm Valve is available in a 316L stainless
steel body with a variety of end connection configurations
to suit your process piping requirements. The Pure-Flo
Diaphragm Valve is also ideal for full vacuum service. Where
modification of the product with solvents, acids or other
compounds is necessary, a variety of FDA and non-FDA linings
are available in addition to 316L stainless steel and
other alloys.
Utilities: The Pure-Flo Diaphragm Valve is available in a
variety of end connections, body materials and linings to
satisfy your needs and requirements on such utility services
as DI water, air, oil, caustic, buffer solutions, etc.

Due to its inherent design, the Pure-Flo Diaphragm Valve
provides an unobstructed flow path minimizing the accumulation
of process fluids. In particular, the diaphragm
valve has outperformed the competition on viscous and

The Pure-Flo Diaphragm Valve has been modified, especially
for brewery service.
Body: 316L stainless steel investment casting for superior
quality and finish. Available in sizes 1/2"–6" (DN 15–150).
Interior Polishes: Satin finish interior is available (80 grit
mechanical polish, satin finished with aluminum oxide).
Standard mechanical polishes are available from 35–11 μin
(,89–,28 μm).
End Connections: A variety of end connections including
Schedule #5 buttweld by buttweld, or Schedule #5 buttweld
by male hose thread.
Diaphragms: Six (6) different diaphragms including Soft
Gum Rubber, Black Butyl, White Butyl, EPDM, Buna N and
PTFE are available.
Bonnets: A variety of bonnet options are available:
Thermoplastic PAS (polyarylsulfone); atmospheric white
epoxy coated; Nylon 11 coated; PVDF coated; stainless steel
and bronze.
