WHAT I CAN OFFER EMPLOYERS
Hard working, honest and highly dependable, I endeavour to complete all tasks with great care and
dedication no matter how small or large the job in hand could be; making sure it is carried out to the best
of my abilities.
Having managed a medium size architectural practice, I have an overall experience in problem solving,
handling of staff and delivering projects within a team work environment, achieving deadlines for the
benefit of all.
The Business Innovation Programme at the DCU Ryan Academy has given me an essential insight into the
business innovation process, market research and project management. The programme helped me to
deepen my overall presentation skills, and expand my team building experience within a varied multiprofessional
setting. It has exposed me to the importance of innovation within the entrepreneurial and
business environment, highlighting the continuous change required for any business to survive - “Innovate
or be prepared to fail”.
PLANS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FUTURE CAREER
Currently seeking new challenges as an architectural consultant with special interest in good quality
design work. I am particularly interested in providing services in sustainable architecture (“passive house”
design) and carrying out projects on protected structures that require careful Conservation handling.
I am very interested in tutoring and lecturing for third level education within the sphere of design,
architecture or personal development.
I am also interested in seeking new opportunities to apply my broad strategic thinking and creative
problem solving to any business or industry seeking innovative solutions in market research and design
thinking procedures. Facilitating and mentoring individuals or groups to transform a new way of thinking.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
An active member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, participating in various activities promoted
by the Institute such as architectural exhibitions, seminars and architectural tours within Ireland and
abroad. Well travelled and enjoy experiencing different cities and cultures. I have lived in different
European countries such as Malta, Italy and the UK forging a multicultural outlook of life. I have special
interest in sustainable architecture and have attended many conferences in Ireland and abroad. Special
interests are art, painting, interior design, and landscape design. Visiting historical buildings such as the
