WHAT I CAN OFFER EMPLOYERS
Having been brought up in my family’s hospitality business, I am first and foremost a people person with
a huge focus on customer service and a strong work ethic. These traits I took with me into my banking
career where I built strong relationships and loyalty with customers. My openness and natural flair for
business made for a very successful and enjoyable career. I recruited a strong team, who under my
leadership and guidance prospered and progressed in their own careers. The Business Innovation
Programme has allowed me to further develop my project management and innovation skills. As part of
the programme our team came up with some radical innovation ideas for a mid-market department store
and currently as part of my host company placement I am working on new product development, having
completed extensive market research.
PLANS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FUTURE CAREER
I am seeking a new challenge that will enable me to share my experience and develop my project
management and innovation skills in a busy environment. I would love to collaborate with others within
a company to find solutions to business problems. Alternatively to work with a company that is looking
for some new ideas and is open to change. Although my core experience has been in the banking industry,
my passion is the hospitality food and drink sector. I have been involved in the setting up of a number of
small businesses within this area and have a keen interest in innovation within this sector. I am confident
that my skills and expertise combined with my positive attitude and personable nature can be applied to
any number of organisations.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
I have a keen interest in keeping fit and go to the gym as often as possible. I play tennis regularly and play
golf in the summer. I have travelled extensively around the world experiencing different cultures and
cuisines. I am currently learning Spanish and look forward to using it both in work and socially. I use social
media to develop and update my areas of interest and follow a number of influential business figures and
commentators.
