Nicola has experience of using a wide range of accounting systems and implementing office procedures
for both SMEs and micro enterprises. With the benefits of working in the UK, Italy and Ireland Nicola is
a skilled communicator and enjoys building on client relationships. Nicola has the ability to analyse and
produce reports to meet the client's expectations.
Nicola has managed to fuse this experience with the Business Innovation Programme course to enable her
to successfully undertake market research and analyse the data to produce high level reports and by
implementing project management tools to combine her work and studies. Nicola’s unique selling point
is her ability to seize opportunities and create a tangible service by utilising her tacit knowledge.
PLANS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FUTURE CAREER
Nicola is currently working on a tourism business development project in Laytown. The project is to turn
a heritage public house into a Youth Hostel and Outdoor Activity Centre. This will involve sourcing
LEADER Funding with Meath Partnership. Nicola is currently attending workshops with Meath Partnership
to facilitate this.
Nicola will be responsible for the Project Management which entails market research, public relations,
implementing office systems, CRM system, Sales Tools, web design, social media and liaising with
stakeholders and financial institutions.
Nicola's objective is to establish a successful business to provide business development, sales and
customer service advice and training.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Nicola is interested in Interior Design. Nicola enjoys organising events and has an Arts and Culture
Meetup Group. Nicola is currently learning to Fly Fish.
