Safety instructions
– Since the humidifiers are usually mounted at a considerable height,
please observe the following safety instructions:
– Whenever possible, use a firm platform when mounting an appliance.
If a platform cannot be used, use a step ladder (Straight ladders are not
permissible).
– Obtain assistance for difficult operations.
– Use barriers to safeguard the work zone.
– Use only the fastening material supplied to attach the base unit . If, in
your particular case, it is not possible to attach the unit with the supplied
material, choose a fastening system of similar stability. Contact your
Defensor dealer in cases of doubt.
Mounting the humidifier
• Mark the positions for the base-unit fastening holes on the wall (see
figure below). Use a spirit level to check the alignment.
