Congratulations on your purchase of a Defensor ABS2 adiabatic humidification
system.
You now own a powerful humidification system which meets the latest
hygiene requirements and which offers outstanding operating convenience.
The special features of the ABS2 are:
– high humidification capacity
– sturdy construction
– modular design
– low power consumption
– simple operation and maintenance
– simple installation without structural modifications
Please read this installation and operating manual carefully and follow the
instructions. This will do much to ensure the safe and dependable
operation of your air humidifier.
Delivery
On delivery:
– Check the appliance for shipping damage. Immediately report any
damage to the forwarding company and to your Defensor dealer.
– Check the delivery for completeness. Your Defensor dealer will immediately
make up any incomplete shipments.
Safety
– This unit was shipped from the factory in a perfectly safe condition. To
ensure its continued safety, please:
– Follow all instructions and obey all warnings in this installation
and operating manual.
– Observe all local safety regulations governing work on mainspowered
electrical and electronic appliances.
– The air humidifier should be installed, serviced, maintained and repaired
only by qualified persons familiar with the equipment.
– Before carrying out any work on the Defensor ABS2 set the unit out
of operation, disconnect it from the power supply and secure the
unit against unintentional power-up according the instructions
given in chapter 5.2.
– Setup, maintenance and repair of the electrical installation of the Defensor
ABS2 must be carried out only by experts being aware of possible
danger and implications.
