Atomizer unit removal
• Unplug the electric cable(s) between the atomizer unit(s) and the base
unit.
• AU90: Lift off the aerosol discharge hood and then the directing hood
(11a). Remove the ring filter unit (12, if installed).
AU35: Undo the two catches and lift off the discharge housing together
with the flat filter (11b).
• Carefully lift the atomizer unit (10) on the carrier frame (1a/1b) up and
out of the base unit.
• Place the atomizer unit (10) together with the fan wheel downwards onto
the carrier frame. Make sure that the unit does not stand on the fan
wheel (use wooden blocks).
• Hold the disks (9) (guide disk (2), distributor cone (3), 3 spinning disks
(4) and impeller (5)) firmly and undo the suction tube (6) in an anticlockwise
direction.
• Remove the disks (9) from the drive shaft. Press the impeller and spinning
disks away from the distributor cone by hand. Then, remove the
distributor cone from the guide disk.
• Pull the catch springs outwards and carefully withdraw the atomizer
grid (7) from the centring device.
• Remove the insert (8) from the base unit.
