CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH<br />
A unique worship style paradigmn for church ministry which places emphasis on lay<br />
people to carry out worship, Christian education, fellowship and evangelism in its ministry<br />
strategy. Often congregational churches are small, single cell churches because of the deemphasis<br />
on leadership and the high emphasis on lay-ministry.<br />
CONVERSION<br />
Participation by non-Christians in a genuine decision for Christ, a sincere turning form<br />
the old life and sin, and a determined purpose to live as Christ would have people live.<br />
a) Individual Conversion - the evangelization of one person at a time in individual<br />
counseling time.<br />
b) Multi-Individual - many people participate in the act, each individual makes up<br />
his/her mind, debates with others and decides to either accept or reject Christianity.<br />
DISCIPLING<br />
Bringing people to a personal relatinship with Jesus Christ. A more refined classification<br />
follows:<br />
D-1 The turning of a non-Christian society for the first time to Christ.<br />
D-2 The turning of any individual from non-faith to faith in Christ and his or her<br />
incorporation in a church.<br />
D-3 The teaching of an existing Christian as much of the truths of the Bible as<br />
possible, helping them grow in grace.<br />

Evangelism is communicating the gospel in an understandable manner, and motivating a<br />
person to respond to Christ and become a responsible member of his church.<br />

Evangelism is communicating the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit to unconverted<br />
persons at their point of need with the intent of effecting conversions. These conversions take<br />
place as individuals repent of their sin and put their trust in God through Jesus Christ, to accept<br />
